Goldcar Varna Airport

I have been to Varna three times in the past 12 months, and once again, I rented a vehicle from Goldcar. I was not disappointed this time either. The staff at the counter are extremely friendly and helpful. Communicating in English was absolutely no problem. Although the rental cars were not brand new and had some visible scratches or dents, these were always properly documented in the handover report. The technical condition and cleanliness of the vehicles were absolutely ok. The key handover takes place directly in the terminal, and the car can be easily picked up next to the building. Overall, I was very happy with the value for money. From me, it’s a clear recommendation.

Terrible service – they clearly don’t care about their customers. Hardly anyone at the counter, and when you do have a question, there’s no support at all. They even tried to rip us off with an extra €200 charge. We wasted 2 hours at the airport, only to finally rent a car from a competitor without any issues. Absolutely unacceptable. Never again!

Scammers in their purest form. The company does not exist. They took the money. The car was not given back. And we are Eurocar not Goldcar.
