Europcar Bulgaria Hilton Hotel

No idea about the bad reviews before mine, but the lady that ran the place when I came was super nice, the car was also brand new (Skoda Octavia Automatic) and we enjoyed our trip to the monastery. Can’t say anything bad, also the return was flawless. It wasn’t cheap but honestly what is nowadays.

I had a great experience renting a car with Europcar. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. The car was in perfect condition, clean, and ready on time. What impressed me most was the staff – very professional, friendly, and helpful, making the whole process easy and pleasant. I will definitely choose Europcar again and highly recommend their service.

Eurocar is the worst. My car suddenly stopped working while I was driving, and it wouldn't accelerate even when I stepped on the accelerator. I pulled over to the side of the road, restarted the engine, and finally got it back on track. Eurocar claimed the car wasn't broken and that my complaint was false. Despite the danger and inconvenience they caused their customers, they didn't even offer a proper apology. Eurocar is a terrible company that rents out broken cars. Eurocar doesn't acknowledge the problem, but this information is true.

I wouldn't recommend anyone to go here. In fact, I made a very similar experience as described by another recent one-star review. The female worked at this Europcar location is absolutely unhelpful, unfriendly and troubled. No way to solve any little issue with the deposit only by an outdated creditcard, that they ask for. I won't use that company ever again.

Absolutely horrible, scam company. The back license number just fell off, somewhere on the drive, we didn't hit anything nor did anyone hit us, we were parked in guarded parking lots as well so no vandalism. From what I can tell Europcar just uses old unmaintained cars and then makes it the customer's fault/issue that their cars literally fall apart while just driving on motorways and highways. Will never use again! Got charged 200 euro for the back plating when changing it in Bulgaria only costs 6 euro. And a day's worth of the car being rented costs only 23.33 euro, at most welcome should've paid 30 euro and even then it's not our fault the cars are unmaintained, absolute rip off! Edit: As I cannot reply to the reply I've received I'm adding this edit. I have already contacted your support team and they have refused to solve the issue the first time they responded and now they haven't responded back for over a week, so yeah don't use Europcar still stands almost a month after the fact.

The woman was very easily frustrated, and does not know customer service, not peace. She kept rambling about credit card for deposit and Terms and Conditions, though we booked a car rent with full insurance. There's literally no requirement for a deposit. And paying the car rent was allowed to with a debit card or cash, as it wasn't stated otherwise in Bulgaria's Europcar Terms and Conditions. Never seen anything like this. In Germany, this incompetent service woman we met at 9 a.m. yesterday, the 24th of September on a Wednesday, would be fired immediately. Instead of doing business, she got very rude and nervous, losing her temper. Her being stressed about logical reasoning, and explaining to her calmly, why she's wrong only made her angrier. 🤔 Perhaps she should change her profession into something less mentally demanding.

Very good service! very kind and efficient process. You get a car just in 5 min waiting for you in the hotel’s parking lot! Staff are very pleasant and helpfull. Highly recommend it!
