Truly excellent service and experience. Lots learned during the week cycling near the Black Sea and Danube with adaptions to individual circumstances. The roads and trails varied greatly, creating plenty of challenges for an experienced cyclist, but you don't need to be an avid athlete to enjoy the experience. (There is some climbing but it is a reasonable amount and there is an e-bike option if you prefer a less strenuous experience.) The guides ensured safety and their commentary along with stops at relevant and interesting historical sites and museums enriched the adventure. Costs were reasonable, resulting in excellent value.

This was an awesome trip. Was my first biking adventure. The owner/guide was very attentive and very well educated on the history of Bulgaria and sights. Definitely recommend an e-bike unless you have bike experience uphill. Everything was planned out from the daily route to hotels and meals. I felt we had a great balance between the time biking and sight seeing. The hotels were very nice accommodations. Weather was perfect for our May 2024 trip. Highly recommend this company.

We had an AMAZING day e-biking with Plateau cycling. Communication was fantastic (we used FB DM) to get the trip booked. Rode along the coast, through several villages, visited a fabulous local restaurant for lunch and finished the day riding through vineyards and to one of the oldest local wineries for a wine tasting. The e-bikes made it ver easy for sweaty sports enthusiasts like us to ride 42+ km. For your ultimate Bulgarian sight seeing tour, do yourself a favor and book a bike tour with Plateau Cycling!

I very rarely leave reviews but I thought this experience was worth writing about! Deyan the guide was just fantastic, we exchanged a couple of emails to establish what I was after and my experience. He tailored the tour to suit. He turned up to pick me up early and the whole feel was very relaxed. I’m a solo traveller and fairly confident but I would have never explored areas like this! The terrain was varied and there was plenty of information on hand. I would throughly recommend doing this tour as a group or on your own!

This was an incredible adventure! Such a wonderful tour of Varna, the countryside and sea shore. Deyan did a fabulous job making sure we enjoyed the day and saw all the top places. He was very friendly and welcoming! We cycled close to 20 km, so medium fitness is needed. However, Deyan will stop and let you rest, if needed. I highly recommend this trip.
